Join us for the 10th Annual Pomona 5K & 10K on Saturday, October 17, 2026
The Pomona 5K/10K celebrates its 10th anniversary on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Take the chance to be a part of this historic milestone. With an average of 1,000 running participants and over 800 spectators in Downtown Pomona to cheer on all the runners, this event is a premier community event in the City of Pomona with a broad reach.
Visit the Health & Wellness Resource Fair from 8:00am through 12:00pm
In conjunction with the Pomona 5K & 10K, we are also hosting the Health & Wellness Resource Fair at Shaun Diamond Plaza throughout the race and after. If you are not participating in the race, or if you finish early, please visit the booths at our Health & Wellness Resource Fair. We created this complimentary event to highlight our community partners, provide accessible health services and promote wellness for resident of all ages. Visit the Health & Wellness Fair for information on what's happening in the community, free health screenings, wellness education, and direct connections to valuable healthcare and support services.
Our Background
The Pomona 5K was born in 2016, with the vision of creating a community-driven running event in the heart of Downtown Pomona. The Pomona 5K is a partnership between Pomona Valley Runners, a local running group, and various community organizations including God’s Pantry, a community-based nonprofit organization. This event has been coordinated by a core group of dedicated community leaders from Pomona who volunteer their time to put on this event from the ground up.

- 7:30 AM | 5K START (Combo runners will start with and complete their 5K distance prior to the 10K start. You will then start with and complete your 10K distance.)

10K - This year the 10K will be two laps through downtown Pomona
Combo 5K & 10K - NEW!! Complete the 5K and then the 10K for a total of three laps through downtown Pomona
