EVENT VERIFICATION
During the Registration process you will be asked to give the race director a previous ocean swim race you participated in or triathlon or pool swim so that it can be verified. As the race director, I do not want this event to be the 1st time you have ever swam in the ocean. Being a swimmer in a pool and going into the ocean water with 100 others is a totally different atmosphere.
For the safety of the event and also for the safety of the athlete, you will be asked for some of your past races for safety verification.
Note...The Race Director reserves the right to reject any entry due to the safety of the athletes background in open water ocean swims. Thank You for your understanding.
IF YOU PARTICIPATED IN THE 2023 or 2024 EVENT YOU ARE AUTOMATICALLY VERIFIED.
REFUNDS/DEFERRAL
The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy, however we make every possible attempt to please our client with the following options: 1. Transfer to a future Seashore Strider owned event of equal value before the end of the current year. 2. Donate your entry fee to the charity associated with the event or to the Seashore Strider Youth Running program. 3. Transfer/Defer to the following year at the same event. Thank You for your cooperation & understanding as some situations are beyond the control of the Seashore Striders.
