Alligator Lighthouse Swim & Kayak Clinic + Practice | Sunday, August 10

📅 Sunday, August 10 | 8:45 AM – 10:30 AM+

If you’re preparing for the Alligator Lighthouse Swim this September, this hands-on clinic is for you. Whether you're doing the swim solo or as part of a relay team, this session will help you and your kayak support dial in the skills and transitions needed for race day. Led by Coach Coral Owen of Team BABE Athletics.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

🛶 Review of race logistics and on-water communication
🔁 Demonstration and guided practice of swimmer/kayaker rotations
🏊🏽 Optional extended swim and kayak practice on your own after the clinic
Kayak rental not included. Please see note below for options.

TIMELINE:

8:45 AM – Arrive and check in
9:00–9:30 AM – Secure kayak, gear, and personal items
9:30–10:30 AM – Guided clinic session
10:30 AM+ – Optional training swim and paddle (on your own)

IMPORTANT:

Kayak rental is not included with registration. You are welcome to bring your own or rent from Sail Honeymoon.

About Coach Coral:

Coach Coral Owen is the head coach and founder of Team BABE Athletics, Tampa Bay's premiere women's triathlon and endurance community. Coral has over 20 years of triathlon and swim coaching experience and is a multi-time finisher of the Alligator Lighthouse Swim and has coached numerous athletes for both solo and team finishes at the event.
