Description
Starting and ending at the Springfield Living History Site, the Springfield Century Ride is a metric century and half-century bike ride that takes you through the historic and scenic back roads of Effingham County. This event is coordinated in partnership with the Old Effingham Day Festival and all riders receive a lunch voucher for FREE food at the event. Rest stops are provided along the route and the volunteers from the Effingham Fire Dept offer SAG support throughout the route. The race is hosted each year by the Springfield Revitalization Corp. and all profits are used to enhance downtown Springfield through beautification projects. Registration will be online and day-of. Each pre-registered rider will receive race SWAG and be entered into the drawing from some awesome door prizes. Custom race day shirts can be ordered at registration or purchased on race day. Day-of registration will begin at 7:15 am the morning of the race. SWAG items will be limited, and will be available first come first serve to those registering day of.
