Dark Dash 5K – A Night to Glow!

Due to the potential for severe weather on our original race night, we’ve made the decision—out of an abundance of caution—to move the Dark Dash 5K to Friday, May 30, 2025. While the date has changed, everything else you love about this unique night race remains the same!

Join us for a fun-filled glow-in-the-dark 5K, completely planned and organized by the 4th graders at Hodgenville Elementary School! The excitement kicks off with packet pickup at 7:30 PM, followed by the race start at 8:48 PM.

Expect an electric atmosphere with glowing lights, fun giveaways, a pre-race dance party, and one-of-a-kind handmade awards created by the students themselves. From the race name and t-shirts to the medals and event layout—every detail has been thoughtfully designed by these future leaders.

Registration is still just $25, and all proceeds support the Hawk Store, a program benefiting students at Hodgenville Elementary. If you registered by May 1, your custom student-designed t-shirt is guaranteed!
