The Race Benefits:
- Iberia Mental Health Initiative
- The Iberia Mental Health Initiative is a coalition of concerned citizens dedicated to identifying and addressing the mental health needs of our community. We are composed of medical and mental health professionals, legal and law enforcement professionals, education personnel, clergy, and suicide awareness advocates, and other community supporters. All proceeds are poured back into the community to help raise awareness for mental health through programs and events.
Inclement Weather Policy
- No refunds will be given due to inclement weather.
The safety of our athletes and volunteers is our primary concern. In the event of inclement weather, the race will continue under the following circumstances:
Rain - the event will NOT be cancelled due to rain alone.
Lightning - If lightning is seen or thunder is heard, the event will be postponed for a minimum of 20 minutes until no signs of the storm are present. Participants should seek shelter in their vehicles or a nearby building if available. If lightning continues 20 minutes after the scheduled event start, the race will be subject to cancellation.
