BASIN WELLNESS CENTER’S BULL RUN & BIKE
You'll get to see what the nickname "Big Sky Country" is all about at Montana's Bull Run & Bike, which take runners on a route with a few rolling hills followed by a several-miles-long downhill stretch that finishes at Stanford's City Park. The terrain for the race will be maintained gravel roads through the forest and the Little Belt Mountains here in central Montana. Proceeds from both races will benefit Basin Wellness Center, a facility in-the-making with the goal of "bringing health and wellness to Judith Basin County." Check out our Facebook page for more information about our project!
Start time for the race is 6:30 a.m. Further instructions of where to meet up in the Little Belt Mountains and at the Stanford City Park will be provided upon registration.
We welcome Single Runners and Bikers to run and bike the Half Marathon or you can form a Two Person team to do a Run/Run or Run/Bike Combination split. We also have a Duathlon.
T-SHIRT/SWAG BAGS
This race comes with a T-Shirt and Swag Bag. To guarantee these items, your registration will need to be received by June 16, 2022.
ONE MILE FAMILY FUN RUN
This will be a flat, family friendly 1 mile course. Race will begin from the Stanford Pool Park. Race participants that pre-register will receive a race shirt. Those registering late or the day of the race may or may not receive a race shirt. Please watch for traffic and obey all traffic laws. Walkers are welcome but please leave your furry friends at home.
AWARDS/PRIZES
Thanks to our generous sponsors, we will have awards for 1st and 2nd place finishers in each race as well as lots of door prizes! Drawing for door prizes will take place at the conclusion of the 1-mile fun run.
A FEW HOUSEKEEPING ITEMS...
We will have a volunteer EMT on-site in case of emergencies. Water stations will be provided throughout the half marathon route and at the finish line for both races. No public restrooms will be provided at the half marathon race, but facilities are available at the finish line (Stanford City Park). Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage you to stay home if you are ill and practice social distancing/handwashing when appropriate.
CMR STAMPEDE WEEKEND
These races are also timed to coincide with a weekend full of events that commemorate Charlie Russell's life and work, including the CMR Stampede Rodeo, Western BBQ, Stampede Music Fest, Kids' Calf Scramble, and the Quick Finish Art & Auction, in which artists compete to finish their painting, sculpture or other artwork and then enter it in a live auction.
MOST IMPORTANTLY
HAVE FUN!! Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and be sure to join us afterward for continued fun during CMR Stampede Weekend!
