Tired of being in the house all the time? Are you looking for a productive way to “pedal” the cares away? We’d like to invite you to Pedal the Pandemic!
A competitive event for adults and a leisure event for children, Pedal the Pandemic is a personalized biking experience. Adults, take your pick! Choose to bike either 25 or 50 miles, make your own course, or pick from ours.
After you complete your exercise, send your results to via email (firstname.lastname@example.org). The winners are not divided by gender, 1st place wins bragging rights and this fun shirt and medal.
Pedal the Pandemic is not a competitive event for children, but they can still participate! Kids* can choose a challenging mileage, with a minimum range of three miles. Upon completing the challenge and mailing their results, every child will receive a participation medal and a tee-shirt. All emails exchanged regarding questions and race results should be delivered to email@example.com!
*To qualify for the kids’ category, participants must be age 12 and under.
In order to make Pedal the Pandemic a rousing success, everyone must send a photo of their mileage and time upon completion. If cycling with a child, please send their information as well. Photos are welcome and encouraged!
The challenge depending on your choice or trek can be completed over several days.
Nobody could have foreseen what we are all going through. Our current climate has transformed into something entirely unfamiliar, and during this difficult time, it is our hearts that bring us together. We have missed out on many experiences in 2020; we have celebrated milestones without the social aspect, without the excitement we’re so used to Pedal the Pandemic strives to change that through positivity, drive, and a healthy dose of exercise!
We hope to see you — virtually — there! Stay well, and stay safe. Happy cycling!
