RACE CANCELLED
We have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s race. The health and well being of the runners and volunteers are our top priority. Air quality levels are simply too dangerous to safely hold the event. While we wish the race could have safely gone off, based on guidance from health and government leadership, there was not option. Attached you will our official statement. We appreciate you getting the word out to the community as soon as possible.
We will be offering runners the opportunity to pick up their tshirts and race packets all next week at our offices.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support of ECMC and look forward to working with you next year.

Course Map
Course:
Rectangular - Out & Back. Starting and Finishing after Bidwell near Elmwood. Splits every mile.
Water:
At the one mile mark on Delaware Avenue, beyond the 2 mile mark near the Red Cross on Summer Street, near the 3-mile mark at the 5 Star Bank on Elmwood and Bryant.

USATF Niagara Association 4 Mile Road Championship:
Buffalo Subaru 4 Mile Chase is hosting the 2026 USATF Niagara Association Open and Masters 4 Mile Championships. To be eligible for USATF Niagara awards and scoring, you must be a current 2026 USATF Niagara member.
With the race being designated the 4 Mile Championship, this also includes being apart of the 2026 USATF Niagara Runner Of The Year Series and the USATF Niagara Team Grand Prix Series

Age Group Awards - DEEP!
The Buffalo Subaru 4-mile chase will be presenting awards in the following age groups based on the number of entries in each age group. In addition, $50.00 will be awarded to the age group winners starting with the 20-24 age group category (United States and Canadian born only).
Male and Female
7-9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-over.
Couples Division
M/F - 1st $50. Places 2-7 will receive non-cash awards.
Kids Races
A special FREE Kids Race for boys & girls in 3 divisions (5-6yr. olds, 75 yards; 7-8yr. olds, 100 yards; 9-10yr. olds, 150 yards) will begin at 6:45 PM. Fill out and mail registration form to enter your child.

From Rochester:
Pay toll - Continue on thruway (Do not go towards Niagara Falls) Exit 51W (Route 33 West) to 198 - 198 to Elmwood South Exit - Stay on Elmwood to Bidwell Parkway.
From the Peace Bridge:
Left on Porter to Richmond - Left on Richmond to West Utica - Right on West Utica to Elmwood - Left on Elmwood to Bidwell
15 minutes to Niagara Falls.
