The 6th Annual Heroes On The Run

Join us for our 6th Annual Heroes on the Run - Presented by Subaru of Bend!

Get ready for Street Dog Hero’s biggest event of the year — a dog-friendly 5K, 10K, and Kids Mini-Run in beautiful Riverbend Park. Every step you take will change a dog’s life!

Your registration helps give dogs from around the world and right here in Central Oregon a second chance. This year, our goal is to raise $100,000 so we can say “yes” to even more dogs in need.

We’ll run, walk, and celebrate our shared love for dogs, while funding rescue and expanding our life-saving spay & neuter clinics here at home and around the world.

Whether you’re racing for a personal best, strolling with friends, or showing off your four-legged teammate, you’ll be part of a community coming together to help dogs everywhere.

• Bring along a PAWticipant - leashed, friendly dogs welcome!
• All participants receive a finisher medal, race t-shirt, swag bag, one free raffle entry & FREE BEER (21+)!
• New this year: professional race timing with instant results and finish-line video.
• Enjoy the Beer Garden, Food Trucks, Kid Zone (w/ bounce house & Fire Truck!), Raffles, Local Vendors and Adoptable Dogs ready to meet their new families.
• Top finishers get to head to the prize table, where you’ll find gift cards ranging from $25 to $100 at some of Bend’s best businesses — from dining to wellness to specialty shops. Run fast, and you might walk away with a steak dinner at Rancher Butcher Chef!
