Description
America250PA is proud to present the Road to 2026! In an effort to promote a healthier Pennsylvania, America250PA is encouraging Pennsylvanians to live a healthier lifestyle by walking, running, biking, or wheeling their way to 2026, all while taking in the #EPIC views of our Commonwealth.
This virtual four-part cumulative challenge is not only open to Pennsylvanians, but to anyone 18 years or older who lives in the United States.
Participants can walk, run, bike or wheel their own race, at their own pace, and submit their times to track their progress. In partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and our county partners, America250PA will also highlight and encourage visitation to Pennsylvania state parks, county parks and local historic points of interest.
Pricing
- 1st challenge - $25.00/per person
- 2nd challenge - $20.26/per person
- 3rd challenge - $17.76/per person
- 4th challenge - Fees are waived for the last part of consecutive participation!
Additional Details
Milestones:
1st Milestone - 250-mile walk, run or wheel / 2,500-mile bike
2nd Milestone - 500-mile walk, run or wheel / 5,000-mile bike
3rd Milestone - 750-mile walk, run or wheel / 7,500-mile bike
4th Milestone - 1,000-mile walk, run or wheel / 10,000-mile bike
All participants will receive a swag bag, virtual race bib, and activity wristband upon sign-up. The miles can be logged anywhere; however, those who log their miles at state parks or trails, owned and operated by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (PADCNR) OR select historic points of interest will be entered to win additional prizes. More details will be provided.
Those who sign-up, track their progress, and meet all of the milestones will receive a commemorative 2026 medal and will be eligible for additional prizes. Note: Miles should only be tracked AFTER your date of registration.
Participants can track their progress on this site, which is managed by Wolf Creek Race Management in Butler County.
We also encourage participants to share their photos on social media, tagging #Roadto2026. America250PA will feature select posts on their social media platforms. Questions can be directed to info@America250PA.org.

The Pennsylvania Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial (America250PA) was established by the legislature and Governor in 2018 to plan, encourage, develop and coordinate the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, Pennsylvania’s integral role in that event, and the impact of its people on the nation’s past, present, and future.

How to Submit Activities:
1. Log into your RunSignUp Account
2. Follow this Link
3. Click on "Submit Virtual Results"
After each activity, you can click on the “Results” tab and then select “Submit Virtual Results” to look up your registration and submit your activities. Shortly after updating your activities, your new total mileage for the challenge will be displayed on the public leaderboard where you can view your rank and progress.
