Be the Light 5K & Walk

This event is more than just a race; it's a heartfelt tribute to the enduring spirit of Janie Grace Moss and a powerful way to invest in the future of deserving students.

Janie Grace Moss was a beacon of light at Goodpasture Christian School and our Goodlettsville and surrounding Sumner County community, known for her unconditional love, servant heart, joyful spirit and unwavering faith. To honor her legacy, all proceeds from the 5K from this first year will directly benefit the Live Love Like Janie Grace Scholarship Fund. This scholarship provides financial assistance to seniors who embody Janie Grace's extraordinary qualities, ensuring that her impact will continue to inspire and uplift future generations. Subsequent years will have proceeds go towards Goodlettsville and Sumner County Charities like Grace Place, and the City of Children Orphanage in Ensenada, Mexico as these were causes near and dear to her heart.

By supporting and participating in the Janie Grace Moss Be the Light 5K, you will demonstrate a profound commitment to education and community development. Your support will directly help students achieve their academic dreams, carrying forward Janie Grace's message of living with love and light.

5k begins at 7:00 am

Walk begins at 7:30 am

Registration through July 4 is $35 (plus processing fees). 17 and under participants will receive $10 off when registering.

Registration increases on July 5 to $45 (plus processing fees). 17 and under participants will receive $10 off when registering.

*Race t-shirts are not guaranteed after July 23.*

Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 the overall male and female winners in the 5K race.

Please be advised, if you choose to bring a stroller, please line up toward the back of the group. We appreciate your understanding on this matter. 

For the safety of all participants, dogs are not allowed on the course at the 5k or walk event. 

PARKING: Please follow the parking signs once you enter the park.

The event will be held rain or shine. All registrations are final. 

PACKET PICK-UP:
Race packets will be available to pick up from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, August 21 and Friday, August 22 at:
Goodlettsville Welcome Center

Goodlettsville, TN 37072

Goodpasture families may begin picking up race packets on Thursday, August 21 at the Cougar Corner. 

RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP:
Race packets can be picked up on race day from 5:30 to 6:30am
