GRAVEL FREE FOR ALL: No Hype, Just Gravel
NO LOTTERY. NO GOUGING. NO WHINING.
While the pall bearers of the Spirit of Gravel are in Kansas, we’re throwing a party in the heart of Texas. Welcome to the Gravel Free For All.
This is a Spinistry joint. That means we stick to our ethos: Long, Hard & Dirty. We aren't here for the expo booths or the glitter; we’re here for the grind.
THE TERRAIN: "THE MAZE"
We are taking over the premium hardpack network of Hill, Navarro and Ellis counties. We’ve stitched together a unique "Maze" of limestone roads designed to break your legs and clear your mind. Easily convenient to most right along the I-35 corridor south of DFW.
Surface: Fast, white rock hardpack.
The Catch: There’s a hint of mayhem. If it rains, 95% of this course is perfect. The other 5%? Well, that’s where the memories are made.
Support: All routes are fully marked. Neutral water tables are stationed every ~30 miles. We provide the basics; you bring the grit.
THE DISTANCES
The Heavyweight (200K): The Feature Event. Timed. Awards for the survivors. This is a true test of endurance worthy of the weekend.
The Contender (100K): A timed "Practice Race." Fast, furious, and done in time for lunch.
The Instigator (50K): Untimed. Beginner-friendly. A perfect introduction to the addiction.
HOW THE "FREE FOR ALL" WORKS
The Cap: Strict limit of 200 Riders. The Entry Fee: $0.00 (See details below).
We are flipping the script on entry fees. This event is a benefit for the believers.
Phase 1: The Inner Circle: Club Spinistry Members get first dibs. If you are a current member, your entry is FREE.
Phase 2: The Riot Squad: Not a member? If you raced the Red River Riot on May 16th (and paid for entry), you unlock a FREE spot for the Free For All during the second wave of registration.
Phase 3: The Scramble: Any spots left after Phase 1 & 2 go to the general public on a First-Come, First-Served basis. These are also FREE.
"Wait, how do I get a guaranteed spot?"
Simple. The entry fee for this race is the exact price of a 12-Month Club Spinistry Membership. If you aren't a member, you sign up for the race, pay the fee, and BOOM—you are now a Club Spinistry member for the next year. You get the race, the membership, and the perks for the price of a single event ticket.
THE RULES OF THE FREE FOR ALL
Be Self-Sufficient: Aid stations are neutral water and ice. If you need specific nutrition, carry it.
The Finish Line: We’ll have cold soft drinks and snacks waiting for you.
NO WHINING: This is the golden rule. It might be hot. It might be windy. The road might be rough. That’s why we ride gravel.
Secure your spot in the mayhem.
