The 22nd Annual RUN FOR THE ROSE 5K & Family 1K
DATE: Sunday, April 12, 2026
LOCATION: Helix Park in the Texas Medical Center
The race supports brain cancer research and pediatric initiatives, recognizes brain tumor survivors, and remembers loved ones lost to this devastating disease.
Race-day activities include a 5K Run, 5K Walk, Family 1K, Survivor Stroll for brain tumor patients, and a lively post-race party for all participants. 5K Run participants are eligible to win awards, given to overall top male and female participants, and those who finish first in age-specific categories. Children receive medals. This is a certified race.

Friday, April 10th Noon - 6:00pm at Sun & Ski Sports, 6100 Westheimer
Saturday, April 11th 10:00am - 2:00pm at Sun & Ski Sports, 6100 Westheimer
Sunday, April 12th beginning at 6:30am at Helix Park, 1720 Breakthrough Way (use Parking Garage address for navigation)
Parking/Location
We will have free garage parking at 1720 Breakthrough Way. There are two entrances to the garage, with attendants to direct traffic. Please plan to arrive early to avoid congestion.
