Hope For Heroes | WALK-RUN-RIDE

First annual fundraising event for the Hero Scholarship Fund benefiting First Responders and Ministry Leaders in the East Texas region! 

Since Hope Road Counseling’s inception, we have had a passion to serve and pour into our hometown Heroes. The Hero Fund offers counseling services at a discounted rate making care more accessible and affordable. Hope Road desires to continue offering this benefit and would like you to join us!

If you have a love for the East Texas outdoors, obsess over bikes, running races and the status of community, then this is your event. We love being outdoors, flannel shirt oil-top backroad riding, and a good spring morning run. So why not mix them all together? For you racers, strategy is key - know your strengths and weaknesses. Fun is guaranteed! How about a prize for most selfies in your local favorite Hero’s uniform with a backdrop of gorgeous East Texas landscapes?

We want the community to show up for our Heroes! Remember this is not only a race but an event. Expect affordable entry fees, a rockin’ finish-line party next to Vendor Village and one heck of a hard course for you racers! 

• *First Responders: local law enforcement, fire-fighters, and paramedics. 

• *Ministry Leaders: individuals who serve in full or part-time ministry and/or local nonprofit agencies benefiting the East Texas community. 

Registration Fees (Early & Late Fees & dates):

    Online now till March 15th 

       5K Walk & Run:                  $25

       10 Mile & 45 Mile Bike:    $35

    March 16th - April 19th

       5K Walk & Run:                  $35

       10 Mile & 40 Mile Bike:     $45

*Must be Registered by April 1st to be guaranteed a shirt.

On Site Registration: April 20th @ 7AM

       5K Walk & Run:               $40

       10 Mile & 40 Mile Bike:  $50

Race Schedule

        8:00 am: 40 mile bike ride

        8:20 am: 5K run

        8:21 am: 1K walk

        9:00 am: 10 mile bike ride

     5K Run:    Overall Male & Female: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd

     10 Mile & 40 Mile Bike Ride:  Overall Male & Female: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

      1st place medal for Male and Female Age Groups for 5K Run: 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Refund Policy: 

This is a fundraiser and therefore, there is NO refund. No refund will be issued if event is canceled due to inclement weather. Thank you for your support!
