Description

FREE for Club Spinistry members. If you are not currently a member the entry fee will cover the cost of a 12 month individual membership. Routes are mostly gravel with planned distances of 31, 41, 55, 63 and 76 miles. Navigation files and free access to the Ride With GPS navigation app will be provided at no cost to all participants. Please note, non competitive riders are most certainly welcome to participate. Chip timing is included for all riders.

We can't do the TCM yet but we can help everyone get trained up for when the time is right.

Virus safe, real deal gravel racing kicks off 2021 in style...Real racing, real awards, real accomplishments, real fun! We recognize that many need a tune up before taking on the 2021 Texas Chainring Massacre so we're going to push it later into the year (date TBD) so that everyone has a chance to get into top racing form. Spots will be limited.

This will be a Spinistry Safe Start ride meeting proper social distancing and safety protocols including no touch check in. Routes will be marked and neutral water tables will be along each route. Sign up for your preferred start time and ride or race any distance. Racers are expected to publicly post their attempts on Strava for verification if needed. Helmets are required, no motorized assistance is allowed. This intended to be a self supported event. No team cars or handups allowed. Neutral water tables will be available for all distances.

People are asking why we aren't doing this out of Valley View. We definitely wanted to but Valley View requested that we hold off staging any events there until the virus issues are better situated. We understand completely and will honor their preferences. We look forward to returning there when it is appropriate. We love Valley View! More details soon....
