We have put some new procedures for joining our training rides into play. We want you to be prepared when you join. Here’s what you can expect.
We will be executing training rides in 2021 with a small group show and go method.
How will this work?
Masks are mandatory, and must be worn until you start your ride
Temperature checks upon arrival
Check in process for ease of grouping and ride take off
Once you arrive you will be greeted and your temperature will be taken.
You will sign a waiver and check in.
You will then be assigned to a bike captain – your bike captain will be the lead for your training ride
Your bike captain will be an experienced and trained rider from the Louisville Bicycle Club, and will be clearly located by their brightly colored vest.
Your ride captain will go over some rules of the road with you, and give you a ride cue sheet for the days ride if you need one.
once you have 10-15 riders in your group, you will take off in your group.
Groups will leave in staggered starts to naturally increase spread of riders on the road, and reduce the number of people waiting around to start
