Hammond Northshore Regional Airshow 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

Get ready to add wings to your feet!!  You are about to embark on the inaugural Hammond Northshore Regional Airshow 5K& 1 Mile Fun Run.

The event will begin and end in beautiful downtown Hammond, LA at Cate Square Park, and the route will be the popular SLU trek that takes you around campus.  There will be food and drinks at the finish line for all participants.  A one-of-a-kind custom finisher's medal will adorn the necks of everyone who crosses the finish line.  THE FIRST 200 REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS WILL ALSO RECEIVE A COMPLIMENTARY TICKET TO THE HAMMOND NORTHSHORE REGIONAL AIRSHOW OCTOBER 11 & 12, 2025.

T-shirts are available for purchase when you register.  T-shirt order cutoff is September 15, 2025.  (If you would like a shirt, it is advised to order when you register as it will not be a guarantee that we will have extras to purchase on race day.)

Race Details:

October 4, 2025; Cate Square Park 279 N Oak St, Hammond, LA 70401

1 Mile will begin at 8am & the 5K will begin at 8:30am

Top 5 overall Male & Female winners will be recognized at the Airshow the following weekend (TBA)

Top 3 Kids 13 & under in the 1 Mile Fun Run will be recognized at the Airshow the following weekend. (TBA)

FIRST 200 REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A COMPLIMENTARY TICKET TO THE HAMMOND NORTHSHORE REGIONAL AIRSHOW FOR EITHER DATE OF OCTOBER 11TH OR 12TH.

Early packet pickup is October 2, 2025, at Perfectly Fit, 303 W Minnesota Park Rd Suite E, Hammond, LA 70403, 10:30am-5:30pm

The Purpose & Mission of the foundation is to develop and grow the Hammond Northshore Regional Airport and support local STEM programs in Tangipahoa Parish.  The Foundation seeks to foster community appreciation for the area’s rich heritage and the sacrifices made in the name of freedom and democracy while encouraging future generations interest in science, the military and aviation for local STEM programs.

A portion of the proceeds of this race helps the Hammond Northshore Regional Airshow organization give back in support of STEM programs and education for our children in the community.
