Running With Padre 5K & 1 Mile Walk/Run

Saturday, October 18, 2025 - 1 mile fun run/walk & 5k will start at 8 am 

201 Church Street – St. Anne’s Church 

Youngsville, LA 70592  

A fun, family friendly 5k through beautiful Youngsville, LA.  All proceeds will support the effort to preserve our present Church, and to build and expand a new worship space for St. Anne Parish. 

T-shirt Purchase Option:

This year we are offering the race t-shirt as an option.  Some of us have too many t-shirts already and would rather save a few dollars.  You may purchase as many as you would like for $5 each. Click on the Race T-shirt For Sale tab at the top of the page or they are available for purchase during your registration process.

The theme this year is "Paint The Town Red".  Don't want another t-shirt then just wear a red t-shirt to be a part of the celebration!

The shirts deadline to be purchased is October 7, 2025 to be guaranteed at packet pickup. 

Families of 4 or More:

For families of 4 or more there is a special discount.  Please contact the race director, Mary Richard, at mygirlinla@gmail.com.

Packet Pickup:

Will take place on Friday, October 17 in the parish hall from 4 to 7 PM located at 201 Church St., Youngsville.  If you cannot make it at that time you can pickup your packet on Race morning.

Age Groups: 

(1-14,15-19,20-29,30- 39,etc. 70+):  

Awards: 

5K Awards: Top Overall Male & Female, & 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Male & Female for each age group.

1 Mile Awards:  Top Overall Male & Female for 14 & Under.

Also an award for the “Fastest Priest”

We have a No Refund Policy.  Please accept that your registration will be considered a donation in the instance you are not able to attend the event.

The Race Benefits the St. Anne New Church Expansion.  We are grateful for your support as all proceeds will not only assist in the success of the race, it will afford us the opportunity to support our faith community as we preserve the history and beauty of our current church, as she will undergo an expansion to accommodate Youngsville’s growing Catholic community.
