Please follow the instructions from our on-site parking volunteers. Parking will be available at both the Nipmuc High School (90 Pleasant St, Upton, MA 01568) main parking lot, which is adjacent to the Start/Finish / Check-In Areas as well as across Pleasant St at the Blackstone Valley Technical (BVT) HS lots adjacent to the BVT softball field, track, and school (a short 5-10-minute walk from the Check-In Area) 

DO NOT PARK ON ANY ROADWAY UNLESS DIRECTED TO DO SO BY A PARKING VOLUNTEER

8:00 AM - Check-In and Bib Pick Up Opens
9:55 AM - National Anthem at START Area
10:00 AM – Race Start
12:15 PM – Award Ceremony Begins
12:45 PM - Post-Race Gathering at Rushford and Sons Brewhouse, 8 Grove St, Upton, MA 01568 – a short (< 5-minute) drive from the Race venue.

This year we are pleased to once again add our event to the USATF-NE Grand Prix series as the 15K Championship.

Composed of seven USATF-NE Championship events, the series offers the best in open and age group competition in the four state region with both club and individual scoring.   All 2025 championships drew over 400 USATF-NE members (several with over 500) covering open ages through age 91 so there will be plenty of quality participants.

The event is sanctioned by the USATF as well (sanction # 161867).

Club Tents only allowed on lawn and patio areas in front of cafeteria.  (not in the the parking lots).  Be sure that all tents are well secured via stakes and/or weights.

Please - NO ALCOHOL on School grounds, buildings, parking lots, etc! 

Rest Rooms: Available both inside the school (adjacent to the main entrance lobby) as well as several portable rest rooms near the START area)

Cool-down: Please limit any cool-down running to the SIDEWALKS on the SCHOOL SIDE (South) of the 4-way stop sign at Pleasant St and Mendon St (mile 0.5 and 8.6 of the race course). In no event, should runners be approaching this intersection after they have completed the race. Cool down is available at the Blackstone Valley Technical HS track and any adjacent local side-roads. If runners wish to cheer on teammates who are coming toward the finish, they should remain on the SIDEWALKS on either side of Pleasant St and not be running on the course road against oncoming athletes in the race.

START POINT (S) DETAIL: Start Point (S) is in the Nipmuc HS Access Rd along the east side of the buildings. It is 39'8” before the near edge of the drain grate at the corner of the second parking lot entry way and 30'6” from the lamp post across that entry way. It is marked with a PK nail and paint.

Turn RIGHT onto Pleasant St.

Turn RIGHT onto Mendon St.

MILE 1 is on Mendon St. It is 38’5” before the mailbox pole for #90 Mendon St. It is marked by a “1” in paint.

Turn RIGHT onto W. River St. [NOTE: Runners will be instructed to stay to their RIGHT on W. River St.]

Turn LEFT onto the SECOND entry to Riverbend Rd.

Follow Riverbend Rd. counterclockwise back to W. River St. 

MILE 2 is on Riverbend Rd.  It is 17’3” after the near edge of the storm drain grate across from the driveway of #14 Riverbend Rd.  It is marked by a “2” in paint.

Turn RIGHT back onto W. River St. and return to Mendon St. [NOTE: Runners will be instructed to stay to their RIGHT on W. River St.]

Turn RIGHT onto Mendon St., bearing to the right at the fork at the end of W. River St.

MILE 3 is on Mendon St.  It is 93’2” before the mailbox pole for #90 Mendon St. It is marked by a “3” in paint.

The 5 K mark is on Mendon St.  It is opposite from and 13’0” before the mailbox pole for #98 Mendon St.  It is marked with a “5 K” in paint.

Turn RIGHT onto South St. [NOTE: Runners will be instructed to stay to their LEFT along the entirety of South St.]

MILE 4 is on South St.  It is opposite from and 64’6” after utility pole #26.  It is marked by a “4” in paint.

Bear RIGHT to stay onto South St. at its junction with Chestnut St.

Bear LEFT onto Miscoe Hill Rd. at its junction with South St.

Turn RIGHT onto Juniper Rd.

MILE 5 is on Juniper Rd.  It is 29’0” before the mailbox pole for #1 Juniper Rd. It is marked by a “5” in paint.

Turn RIGHT onto Pine St.

Turn RIGHT onto Juniper Rd. at the end of Pine St.

Turn RIGHT onto South St. at the end of Juniper Rd.

Bear LEFT to stay on South St. at its junction with Miscoe Hill Rd. [NOTE: Runners will be instructed to stay to their LEFT on South St.]

Bear LEFT to stay on South St. at its junction with Chestnut St. [NOTE: Runners will be instructed to stay to their LEFT on South St.]

MILE 6 is on South St.  It is 12’3” after utility pole MECO 42/VZ 42.  It is marked by a “6” in paint.

The 10 K mark is on South St.  It is 64’0” after mailbox pole for # 124 South St.  It is marked with a “10 K” in paint.

MILE 7 is on South St.  It is 35’0” before mailbox pole for # 44 South St.  It is marked by a “7” in paint.

Turn LEFT back onto Mendon St. at the end of South St.

Bear RIGHT onto Plain St. at its junction with Mendon St.

MILE 8 is on Plain St.  It is 26’6” after utility pole #6 across from Blueberry Ln. and just before the railroad tracks.   It is marked by an “8” in paint.

Turn LEFT onto Station St.

Turn LEFT onto Pleasant St.

MILE 9 is just before and opposite from Joshua Dr.  It is 62’3” after utility pole MECO 28.  It is marked by a “9” in paint.

Turn LEFT onto the first access road for Nimpuc High School and continue to FINISH POINT (F) as per FINISH POINT (F) DETAIL.

FINISH POINT (F) DETAIL: Finish Point (F) is coincidental with the Start (S) point.  It is in the Nipmuc HS access road along the east side of the buildings.
