Join us on the Black River in Croswell for the Pioneer Paddle: Black River Kayak Race, the newest flagship event of Croswell Pioneer Days! Paddlers can choose between two distances: a short ¾-mile out-and-back from the historic Swinging Bridge to Harrington Road, or a longer 1.75-mile downstream route from PL Graham Park to the Swinging Bridge, complete with a shuttle service for participants. Sponsored by the Croswell Library, this family-friendly race welcomes beginners, casual paddlers, and competitive racers alike, with giveaways, prizes, and a festive atmosphere at the finish line.
