SHE TRAINS GR is the official training program of SHE RUNS Grand Rapids Half Marathon
 

The goal of SHE TRAINS GR is to provide a safe, welcoming environment for any She (female identifying) interested in engaging with a coached, supported group training for the SHE RUNS Grand Rapids Half Marathon. The program is designed with her needs in mind - physiological, emotional, and communal.

Program Schedule

 

She Trains GR will meet weekly on Saturdays at rotating locations in Grand Rapids at 8 am from June 22nd through
September 28th.
 
Training officially begins Saturday, June 22. Not sure if you're ready to commit to a training program? Join us on June 8 at 8:00am for a complementary preview run! 

She Trains GR training program includes:

 
  • RRCA Certified group coaching
  • 14 Week Training Plan
  • Weekly organized long runs on Saturdays that include:
    • On route hydration (participants are strongly encourage to carry their own hydration vessel)
    • Weekly route map and directions via Strava
    • Route guides to help you stay on track, and for extra support when needed
  • Monthly educational meet-ups
  • LMCU Bridge Run Activation + registration discount
  • Private Strava training group
