Description

The Gogebic Range Health Foundation will be hosting the GRRR again this year as our annual fundraiser. Join us on Sunday, June 4th, 2023 for group bike rides, road and mountain, and a 5K group run and walk, then enjoy a cookout, raffles with great prizes, and music at the Historic Downtown Ironwood Depot Park.

All group bike rides and run/walk will leave the Historic Downtown Ironwood Depot Park at 1:00 pm. Cookout, raffles, and music are to start at 2:00 pm at the Downtown Depot Park. (The $25 registration includes the fundraising event with cookout, raffles, and music)

Helmets will be mandatory during the group bicycle rides. Please follow all road bicycling and trail bicycling safety laws and rules when crossing streets or riding on roadways with motor vehicle traffic. Please be respectful and courteous to all trail users. Refer to the Michigan cyclist safety rules for more information (state of Michigan cycling safety program). For Mountain Bike Trail etiquette please refer to International Mountain Biking Association for more information.

1. Iron Belle Group Ride - The Iron Belle Group Ride will start at the Historic Ironwood Depot Park promptly at 1:00 pm. All levels are welcome, ride at your own pace and your own distance. The route will be an out-and-back and will stay along the Iron Belle Trail to the turn-around point at the Ramsay trailhead. Riders will return to the Historic Ironwood Depot Park for a cookout, raffle prizes, and music. Registration for this event will include the cookout and some raffle tickets. Maps will be available. 
An event T-Shirt is available for an additional $20. 

2. Towne Group Mountain Bike Ride - The Towne Group Mountain Bike Ride will start at the Historic Ironwood Depot Park promptly at 1:00 pm. All levels are welcome, ride at your own pace and your own distance. The route will follow the Iron Belle Trail to the cutoff trail toward the Miner's Memorial Heritage Park. The route will go through the park trails and return to the Iron Belle Trail. Riders will then return to the Historic Ironwood Depot Park for a cookout, raffle prizes, and music. Registration for this event will include the cookout and some raffle tickets. Maps will be available. 
An event T-Shirt is available for an additional $20. 

3. Iron Belle Group 5K Run/ Walk  - The Iron Belle Group 5K Run will start at the Historic Ironwood Depot Park promptly at 1:00 pm. All levels of runners and walkers are welcome, at your own pace and your own distance. The route will be an out-and-back and will stay along the Iron Belle Trail, returning to the Historic Ironwood Depot Park for a cookout, raffle prizes, and music. Registration for this event will include the cookout and some raffle tickets. Maps will be available. 
An event T-Shirt is available for an additional $20. 

4. Zero K Cookout and Social - Not interested in the group rides but still want to participate? Join us for the 0K cookout and social. It will take place at the Historic Ironwood Depot Park beginning at 2:00 pm. Anyone is welcome to join us for a cookout, bag raffles, silent auction, and music. Registration for this event includes the cookout and some raffle tickets. T-shirts are available for an additional $20. 

* In the event of inclement weather, the group bike, run and walk activities will be canceled. The cookout, social, music, and raffle will move indoors to Cold Iron Brewery at 104 S Lowell Street, Ironwood, MI.
