We have set it up so that each team member can register themselves individually. No more waiting for your friends to pay you back! Please make sure EACH member of your team registers.


Celebrate the End of Winter with the Mike's Bikes Team Active, your favorite local bike shop, and ride in style through a uniquely designed course at Springbrook Golf Course! With two great event options, plus a kids event, there is something or everyone! Grab some food and drink, have some outdoor fun and warm up by the fire. Great giveaways and prizes!

For Fat Fest Relays Beginners, grab two of your closest friends and get ready for a fun adventure on bike. Each team member will complete loop (approx. 1 mile) by bike with an obstacle or two that may slow you down. Teams of 2 may participate with one rider riding the course two times for a total of 3 laps around the course. 2.8"  width or larger tires required. 

The Fat Fest One-Hour Timed Relays are for those who like to be challenged. Compete solo or with a team of two or three and compete to complete as many laps as possible in the one-hour time frame. 2.8" tire width or larger required. 

The Fat Fest Relays are like no other race you have done before. The winners may not be celebrated, the losers might win prizes, or maybe the middle of the pack will bring home the gold. Regardless of your place or time, there will be LOTS of giveaways/prizes for participants. The ultimate goal of Fat Fest Relays: having fun, staying active and enjoying winter and celebrating fat bikes!

Fat Fest Relays Beginners Details
  • Participants must be in teams of 3 (teams of 2 are permitted, but must complete 3 laps total).
  • If you are the first registrant from your team, you will set up the team name and let others know to join
  • If you do not have a team, please email info@cerealcityathletics.com before registering and we will assist you in finding a team
  • The race will begin in waves, wave times will be assigned the week of the event
  • Each team member will complete 1 lap each (if you wish to do more than one lap, look at the details for the Fat Fest Relays One Hour Race)
  • Each registered participant will receive a free beer and a hat
  • Watch out for yetis in the woods
  • Mike's Bikes Team Active will provide a limited number of fat bikes to those wishing to try them, you MUST sign up for these when registering (when using a loaner, each team member will use the same bike) and are only available while supplies last
  • Don't take yourself too seriously
  • You may use one bike as a team, or each use your own 
  • Day of registration will be available beginning at 1 pm. Day of registrants will be placed into the last wave(s)


Fat Fest One-Hour Relays Details
  • Participants will begin in a mass start
  • Participants may compete solo or on a team of up to 3 people
  • Your goal is to complete as many laps as possible in the allotted 60 minutes. (One lap is approx. 1mile)
  • There will be no shot-cut offered in the one-hour relays
  • If using a provided loaner, each team member will need to use the same bike
  • Riders must begin their last lap prior to the 60 minute time limit, it will count as a full lap
  • Day of registration will be available beginning at 1 pm
