Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and guidelines for social distancing we have decided to switch the 11th Annual Ride for Recovery to a virtual ride, run, or walk. Virtual events have become increasingly popular, and allow you to join the fun without the crowds! Simply ride, run, or walk on your own or with a small group of friends.
We will be mailing everyone their packets, which includes a t-shirt and race bib along with other giveaways. We encourage all participants to post selfies on social media with #rideforrecovery the day you complete your event. The fundraising competition is still taking place AND we will enter each person who posts selfies on social media into a drawing for raffle prizes.
Overdoses and relapses continue to happen, even in the midst of international crises. Thank you for continuing to support recovery in this difficult time!
The Ride for Recovery is a family-oriented fitness event that will help to provide critical support to Dawn Farm by raising funds for our continuum of services to assist addicts and alcoholics in achieving long term recovery. These funds will go towards treatment scholarships for those who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford care. The 11th Annual Ride for Recovery offers opportunities to participate at any fitness level, with four bike rides to choose from and a run/walk.
In 2019, we were able to bring in over $30,000 thanks to the participation of friends like you. We are shooting even higher in 2020! Will you join us in celebrating 11 years of Riding for Recovery?
Help us kick off the biking season in style, while supporting a fantastic cause!
Note: The registration page will ask you for your gender (M or F) - this is not a required piece of the registration process. Please feel free to disregard.
