2020 WNC Flyer is Cancelled
Dear WNC Flyer riders,
After the clear guidance from the governor of North Carolina and local public health officials, it is imperative that we cancel the WNC Flyer for 2020. This is sad and disappointing for us, but it is the right thing to do in the face of the global pandemic. Our club has presented this ride for the past 16 years, in one form or another, and this is the first cancellation. Funds from this ride help further the Blue Ridge Bicycle Club's commitment to bicycle advocacy in our community.
We will be offering three options to paid registrants:
- Defer your registration to the 2021 WNC Flyer. (Date tentatively set for Sunday, June 6, 2021).
- Donate your registration amount to Blue Ridge Bicycle Club for use in our bicycle advocacy support.
- Receive a refund for your registration. We will not refund the convenience fee charged by the registration site.
Please Respond by April 30, 2020. If you don't respond, you will automatically get a refund check by mail. Refund checks will be sent out in 4-6 weeks.

Description
The 17th annual Hunter Subaru WNC Flyer (formerly called Fletcher Flyer) will be held in the “Cycling Capital of the South”: Brevard, NC. The start/finish will be at Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard, NC.
What better way to spend the day than with Bikes, Bluegrass, BBQ, and a complimentary first Brew?!
RIDE INFO
Riders will have their choice of a full century, metric century, half century, and half metric rides which wind through the valleys south of Asheville, NC. Although it is the least hilly ride in Western North Carolina, it has plenty of rolling hills to keep all riders interested. There is beautiful mountain scenery without the long mountain climbs. The Flyer is a ride for everyone from first time riders to experience riders.

Super Early Registration (11/15/19 - 11/30/19): $50
Early Registration (12/01/19 - 3/31/20): $55
Regular Registration (4/1/20 - 6/5/20): $60
Late Registration (6/6/20 - 6/7/20): $65 (if available)
Reward for Early Registrants
As an added incentive to register early for this year's ride, participants who do so before January 15th at midnight will be entered in for a chance to win a two-night stay at George Hincapie's Hotel Domestique! This beautiful property, located in Traveler's Rest, SC, is the perfect getaway for the cyclist in all of us.

FOOD INFO
Worked up an appetite during the ride? Join us for our post-ride meal! BBQ, Veggie, and Vegan options are available for purchase during registration for just $5. Extra meals for family + friends are also available for $10.
The deadline to purchase $5 meals is May 23rd at midnight! After that, meals will be available for $10 in limited quantities.
RAFFLE Tickets
Raffle tickets will be available for purchase during registration or during ride weekend this year. Last year's prizes were a huge hit, and there are some amazing choices in the works for 2020!

DONATIONS
The WNC Flyer is a a fund raising event for the Blue Ridge Bicycle Club who’s goal is to promote healthy living and bicycling in Western North Carolina. Monies raised are used to promote healthy living through bicycling and bicycle riding in Western North Carolina.
