Description
Join us for our 7th annual Mayor's Challenge in 2025 with all proceeds to benefit Middletown's World Trade Center Memorial Gardens Committee, a non-profit group of family members and interested residents who developed a lasting tribute to 37 residents who were lost as a result of the World Trade Center attacks. The race route meanders through one of the hidden gems of Middletown - Poricy Park! The trail consists of wide grass paths, as well as some sections of single track. Poricy Park is not flat - beware of the hills! This is a trail/cross-country course - race surfaces consist of grass, gravel and wooden platforms - trails are not paved.

About Middletown's World Trade Center Memorial Gardens Fund
This year's beneficiary is Middletown's World Trade Center Memorial Gardens Fund. The Middletown WTC Memorial Gardens Committee is a non-profit group of family members and interested residents who developed a lasting tribute to 37 residents who were lost as a result of the World Trade Center attacks.
The Middletown WTC Memorial Gardens are located next to the Middletown Arts Center, 36 Church Street, Middletown, NJ 07748. The memorial features a landscaped walking path with individual memorials for each resident lost, where visitors can reflect about the loss Middletown has suffered. The Gardens are open daily from dawn to dusk.
A special renovation is taking place for the 25th anniversary of the World Trade Center attacks. This event will help raise funds for this improvement! More information here.
