Description
We are bringing back "The Hunt," a running-based scavenger hunt that gets you into the outdoors and exploring. This is a great way to enjoy the nice weather and an excuse to begin exploring. You have the entire month of May to try and complete as many challenges as possible to earn points. Whoever has the most points by the end of May 31st is the winner.
How does it work? Create a free profile on RunSignUp. Decide if you would like to register as a team or solo. Download the list and begin creating a game plan to see how many items you can complete!
Submit results Virtually. Every time you complete a challenge, go to "Submit results" and instead of putting in the amount of miles you do, put in the number assigned to each challenge.
Does it cost anything to register? Nope. Not a penny. We do ask each person to raise or donate $50.

Who is MissionCleanWater?
MissionCleanWater is a 501c3 nonprofit working to bring clean drinking water and sanitation to underserved communities. We focus on the fact that many clean water projects in Africa fail in their first year of operation and communities in our own backyard do not have clean water. Through community relationship building, training, and long-term involvement, we want to fully maximize the investment in clean water.
We have taken our community grassroots approach to help two other organizations, 501cthree and the Newark Water Coalition to help New Jersey communities that contaminated drinking water from chemicals and metals.
Where Do My Donations Go?
All donations will be used for MissionCleanWater's 2023 efforts. This includes 3 projects in Uganda and two in New Jersey. By making a donation towards our clean water projects you are helping:
-reduce the number of waterborne illnesses within a community.
-Improve the levels of participation and attendance at schools because students aren't walking to collect water.
-Lower the time to collect water from 3hrs to 15 minutes.
-Provide year-round clean water that community members can use it in their agricultural fields.
-Give new resources to New Jersey communities so they can always have clean water.
How To Create or Join a Team
Click on whether you would like to register for the running or biking event. Once you finish uploading your information, there should be an option at the bottom about whether you would like to join or create a team. Check off Yes.
Later it will direct you to the currently active teams which you can join anyone. If you are creating a team, click create a new team.
How do I upload my results?
We are using RunSignUp as a way to track all individual and team challenges completed. When uploading results follow the directions below.
Uploading results won't be active until May 1st.
1. Visit our event page and click on the tab labeled "Results."
2. Then click on the button labeled "Submit Virtual Results" and search for your name.
3. Once you find your name, click on "Log Your Results."
4. Instead of putting the number of miles completed, put the item number for the challenge completed.
5. We will keep a leaderboard up to date so you can track who is in the lead.
