Welcome to the third annual Run Like a Wolf Virtual Challenge with the Wolf Conservation Center! We're challenging you to get outside to complete 100 miles on foot or 200 miles on a bike during the month of August.
Grab up to 3 friends and complete your challenge as a relay team, or build a full-distance team with 10+ members to receive $10 off each registration fee!
Starting August 1st, log each activity you complete under the "Results" tab on the race homepage or by visiting your profile and selecting "Results."
Select "Submit Virtual Results" and look up your registration by name or email address.
Select "Log Activities." Select the activity type (running, hiking, or walking) and record your mileage. You can manually record your mileage or upload .GPX, .FIT, or .TCX files from a fitness app or smartwatch by selecting "Load Activity From File."
Virtual team members must log their mileage individually. Overall team results will automatically populate in "Team Results."
Challengers competing for the top 12 finalist positions will be required to submit their GPS files or will be contacted by the race administrator to provide proof of their challenge.
Registration will remain open until August 8th.
The Wolf Conservation Center (WCC), located in South Salem, New York, is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit environmental organization protecting and preserving North America's wolf populations through education, advocacy, and active species recovery. Through onsite, offsite, and virtual educational programs featuring the WCC's three Ambassador wolves, the WCC teaches people of all ages about wolf biology, ecology, and behavior, and equips them with the tools and knowledge to become better activists and stewards of the natural world. As participants in the federal Species Survival Plans (SSP) for critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves, the WCC is also a leading center for the breeding and pre-release care of critically endangered wolves.
