ABOUT THE EVENT

Ramon and David are teaming up to run across the United States. Ramon will start on the east coast and David will start on the west coast and run across the USA to meet in the middle of the country at Omaha, NE in a journey that will symbolize the cancer patient experience.  The start point will symbolize the day of diagnosis, the days following, the cancer journey, and the arrival at the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Omaha will symbolize survivorship.
We will cover 50K (31 miles) a day on average, in honor of each of the 31 Hope Lodges in the USA.  Each of us will cover approximately 1600 miles before we meet
in the center of the nation.
This is not a race and it's not about running or about how fast we get there but about the journey. Our goal is to bring awareness to all the good the American Cancer Society Hope Lodges provide to all those receiving treatment.
