Race Week
THURSDAY - Packet Pickup #1 - Belden Village Mall Food Court - 3pm to 7pm. We will be inside the Food Court NEXT TO the entrance in the Visit Canton space. You will pick up your Bib Number and Event Shirt. The race also is hosting a Raffle if you are interested in participating. Raffle baskets will be on display and the Knights of Columbus team can accept cash or card for raffle tickets. You may also pick up packets for friends or family. Just try to have their bib numbers written down.
SATURDAY - Race Day - The race starts on Wise Ave NW in the Avondale neighborhood. All activities, including parking, are at the Stark Board of DD. The address is 2950 Whipple Ave NW, Canton, OH 44708. Below is the agenda for the morning.
Packet Pickup #2 opens at 7:00am
National Anthem at 8:25am
Race starts at 8:30am sharp. This includes the 5K and 1 Mile Walk.
Expected First Finisher: 8:47am
Expected Final Walker: 9:27am
Awards Ceremony: 9:35am
You must be present to receive your awards. Results will be posted a minute or so after you cross the finish line at www.cantonruns.com
Race Course
The course is an "out and back" course with the exception of short segment in the beginning of the race. Turn signs will be placed at every turn. Mile markers will be placed along the course. We are asking that you run "facing traffic" the entire length of the course. Please always keep to your LEFT. A water station will be located at mile 1.8. The course may be open to neighborhood traffic, so please be aware of your surroundings.
