Running the Shores - Jack and Jill Foundation Fundraiser

On Sunday, September 8th, the Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Erie Shores Chapter will be “Running the Shores” in our inaugural 5K Run/Walk, benefitting the Jack and Jill of America Foundation and American Sickle Cell Anemia Association. We invite friends, family and the community to take the plunge with us for a day of friendly competition for a cause. The American Sickle Cell Anemia Association (ASCAA) will also be on site providing free sickle cell trait testing. Racers will set sails at 9:00am from Edgewater Park, where both Individuals and teams are welcome. We’d love to see your festive team outfits!

Participants Receive
Registration includes a t-shirt, please register by September 1 to guarantee your shirt on race day! If registered after this date, subject to availability.

Refreshments provided at the finish line.

Awards

Award given to Top Overall Male and Female runners.

Male and Female runners finishing in the top three in each age group will receive awards.

Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ 

VIRTUAL RUN

Want to participate from out of town? You still can! Complete the 5K race or 1 mile walk on your own.  Run or walk, outdoors or on a treadmill – you choose!  

If you would like to submit your 5K result, please click HERE! Deadline to submit times is Tuesday October 1, 2024.

Virtual event participants can live anywhere!  Please feel free to invite family and friends from around the country to join you.

You will be mailed your shirt after September 8, 2024
