2025 Youth Cross Country

When: August 20th – Oct 8th

Who: Grades 1st – 8th

Practice –

Goal is to have kids come to 2 of the 3 practices below, whatever best fits their schedule.

Practice time is 6:15-7:30
Wednesdays, Silver Springs Park 
5238 Young Rd, Stow, OH 44224 (Can also be accessed from Stow Road and head to the back parking lot)

Thursdays, Goodyear Heights Metro Park

Fridays, Virginia Kendall Ledges

Meets are Sunday at various locations, first race at 2 p.m. 

All-Star Division for individuals with special needs and their siblings.

Races: Sunday afternoons in Akron, Tallmadge, Springfield, Jackson, Streetsboro, Saturday Sept 9th at Walsh Jesuit High School

Distances: 400 meters(fun run) 1 mile (10 years old and under),

1.5 mile (6th grade and under) 

Why: A fun introduction to the sport of running. For all abilities.

* ALL STAR DIVISION RACE COMPETITION IS A ONE MILE RACE OPEN TO INDIVIDUALS WHO FALL UNDER THE AUTISM SPECTRUM OR OTHER FORMS OF DISABILITIES. IT WILL BE THE ONLY RACE OFFERED ON THIS DAY.

Division IV  – 8 an under 1 mile                                        4. Individual awards for top 20 each race
Division V  – 6 and under (or 400 meters)
Division – ALL STAR: Run 1 mile
