ℹ️About Medicine Park:

Medicine Park is built for slow wandering, creek views, and quick access to some of Oklahoma’s best natural spaces.

  • Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge — One of the top attractions in the region, with hiking, bison and longhorn viewing, scenic drives, and iconic spots like Mount Scott and the Holy City.
  • Bath Lake — A spring-fed swimming area right in town, great for relaxing, wading, or people‑watching along the creek. It’s a favorite for families and visitors.
  • Creekside walking paths — Easy strolls along Medicine Creek with bridges, waterfalls, and red rock views.
  • Bring your fishing pole!  April sits right at the transition between winter trout season and warm‑water species waking up. Fish for Rainbow Trout, largemouth bass, bluegill, sunfish & channel cat. 🎣

🛌🏻Where to stay:

  • Plantation Inn — A central, well‑known option with easy access to downtown and the creek. It has a long local history and a solid base of traveler reviews. https://www.plantationinnok.com/
  • Cobblestone Cottage — A cozy stay right off Lake Drive, perfect for couples or small groups who want a quiet, walkable location. https://www.medicineparkrentals.com/
  • Medicine Creek Lodging — Cabins and rooms close to the water, offering a rustic, peaceful feel with quick access to the main village. Visit Airbnb or Vrbo for available cabins.
