Week Four of the Summer Fun Run Series explores the beautiful McCloud Nature Park on the western edge of Hendricks County.  The 3.549 mile route begins and ends at the parking lot outside the nature center.  Follow the red and blue SFR signs with directional arrows to guide you along the route in addition to the map on this page.  From the nature center, the route crosses the historic truss bridge, up the hill, around the woodlands loop and back across the bridge.  The course continues along the Red Tail Ridge trail to the arboretum.  The final mile of the route make a large loop on Prairie View trail before returning back to the nature center.

Be sure to plan your visit to McCloud Nature Park when the nature center is open to enjoy all the amenities it has to offer!  Click here to view the park website: https://hendrickscountyparks.org/our-parks/mccloud-nature-park/
