Q: Where do I pick up my bib?
A: You will be able to pick up your bib on Wednesday, and Friday at 774 Flatbush Ave between the hours of 7pm-8:30pm, or on the day of the race. Please prioritise Wednesday & Friday to avoid delays. 

Q: Can I bring guests who aren’t running?
A: No, due to capacity, we will only allow ticketed entry to the race & carnival.

RACE DETAILS
Q: What time does the race start?
A: The race will begin at 9:00 AM sharp, so plan to arrive on the island by 8:00 AM (ferries start at 6am)

Q: Is the race timed?
A: Yes, this is a fully timed 5K. You’ll receive your results after the event.

Q: Can I walk the course?
A: Absolutely. Walkers and runners of all paces are welcome — this is about movement, joy, and community.

Q: Are there age limits for participants?
A: Yes, all participants must be 18+ for the race, and 21+ for the carnival.

Q: Do I have to bring ID?
A: Yes, ID is required for bib pick-up and any age-restricted festival areas.

🎡 CARNIVAL & AFTERPARTY
Q: What’s happening after the run?
A: From 11:00 AM–4:00 PM, we’re turning Picnic Point into a full-on cultural carnival with DJs, food trucks, sponsor tents, games, giveaways, and more. You’ll see the Statue of Liberty as you dance!

Q: Will there be food and drinks available?
A: Yes — food vendors and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase.

Q: Is there a bar?
A: There will be a bar area for 21+ guests with ID.

🚢 TRAVEL & LOGISTICS
Q: How do I get to Governors Island?
A: Ferries will depart from lower Manhattan (Battery Maritime Building). Please keep in mind the starting point is a 20 minute walk from where you get dropped off (Picnic Point).

Q: Is ferry transport included?
A: Yes, your roundtrip ferry ticket is included with your event registration.

Q: What time should I arrive?
A: Aim to arrive on the island by 8:00 AM for bib pick-up and warmup.

Q: Can I bring my bag?
A: Yes, but pack light. There will be a designated bag check area.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Wear your national flag, green for mental health, or your favorite Peak & Pace fit. Comfortable running shoes are a must!

Q: What is the “Run of Nations”?
A: It’s our signature themed run where everyone reps their heritage with pride. Bring your flags, wear your colors, and celebrate culture on the move!

Q: Is this event beginner-friendly?
A: Yes! Whether it’s your first 5K or your 50th, this event is about celebration and inclusion.

Q: Can I volunteer?
A: Absolutely. Email [volunteers@peakandpace.com] to join the volunteer crew.

💬 MISC
Q: Will there be photos/videos from the event?
A: Yes! We’ll have a full media team on-site. Tag @peakandpace and use #RunOfNations when posting.

Q: Is there a refund policy?
A: All sales are final. However, you can transfer your ticket to someone else up to 72 hours before the event.
