I signed up! Now what?
We recommend that you take some time to review the FAQs below along with other helpful resources on this website.
- You will need to pick up your race packet either the week of the race (recommended) or Saturday morning - see below
- On Saturday, use the parking instructions to find the complimentary parking
- Arrive at the starting line with your race bib at 7:30 AM for a group stretch followed by the Welcome Ceremony
- Races start at 8:00 AM (1 Mile) and 8:30 AM (5k)
- Following the race, enjoy the Finish Line Fest!
What happens after I’m done? What is Finish Line Fest?
- Cross the finish line! The races finishes near Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. All participants will recieve a finisher medal
- Cheer on the winners at the Awards Ceremony. Awards will be given for the overall top 3 and by age groups.
- There will be complimenary snacks for registered athletes and food trucks available to purchase refreshments.
- Don't miss out on fun for the whole family, music, games & entertainment!
What is included with my registration?
- Registration for the 5k/1M inlcudes: 2025 Event Shirt, Finish Medal, and Athlete Snacks at the Finish Line Fest
- Registration for the Kids Dash includes: 2025 Kids Cape
Do you need volunteers?
Yes, we do! Volunteer Opportunities will open up closer to the event - however, if you have a group you are looking to get connected - please email achfoundationevents@jhmi.edu.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing sunscreen, sun protection, water bottles, strollers, and any other items to keep you cool and safe during what may be a warm morning.
Is the course accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes, the Run For All Children is for everyone! All participants can walk, run, push, or roll safely and at their own pace. If you have questions specific to accessibility, please contact Nikki Schmitt at nschmit3@jhmi.edu.

I want to bring my child. Are strollers allowed?
Yes! You are welcome to run with a stroller. It wouldn’t be a Run for All Children without the children! They are also welcome to register for our free Kids Dash to receive a free Run for All Children cape.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, however, we do ask that you come prepared with precautions to keep your dog safe in the Florida heat. Lots of water and think about those paws!
What happens if there is bad weather?
The race will go on with rain or wind. In the event there is lightning, there could be a delay, course distance change, or cancellation. Please always check your email or our Facebook page for packet pickup and race updates.
Can I get a refund?
We do not offer refunds or transfers.

I have family/friends who would like to track my progress. How do they do that?
The link will be posted closer to event.
Is there a 10k race this year?
There will not be a 10k race in the 2025 event. We are excited to focus on several new additions that are family-friendly and inclusive to all capabilities.
What are the age groups for awards?
There will be first, second, and third place awards for each of the following age groups:
- 5k: Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
- 1M: Overall
