Miracle Hill’s Annual Kids Ninja Challenge is a family-friendly fundraising event for children ages 4 to 12. Kids are given the opportunity to become a Ninja for the day and challenge themselves to 10+ obstacles on a .75 mile course. Leading up to the event, participants are encouraged to raise money for the homeless and hurting children and adults in Miracle Hill's shelters and programs.
Kids will receive a fundraising packet in the mail and create an online fundraising page during registration.
There will be fundraising prizes at various levels and prizes for top fundraisers!

What does the registration fee include?
1 kid event participation, a Kids Ninja Challenge t-shirt, and a finisher medal. (T-shirts only guaranteed if registered by August 3rd)
When is the registration deadline?
Online registration closes on August 28th at 3:00 pm.
Do I have to fundraise to participate in the event?
We encourage each child to raise money to help the homeless and hurting children and adults in Miracle Hill's programs and facilities. On any given night Miracle Hill has around 650 guests staying in one of our 8 facilities and foster homes receiving shelter, food, clothing, and care. This event provides a way for kids to raise money for those in need right here in our community!
When do I need to arrive at the event?
All participants must check-in at the "Participant Check-In" tent 1-hour prior to their wave time - e.g. if your wave time is at 9:15am, check-in is at 8:15am. Please do not check-in before or after this time in order to keep the check-in process smooth for everyone. There will be fun activities for the children to enjoy before and after their wave time.
What happens if it rains?
The event will start rain or shine. In the event of a severe storm or inclement weather, authorities may decide to cancel the event the morning of the event. In the event of a weather cancellation, emails and texts will be sent out to inform registrants.
Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Yes. Packet pickup will be Friday, August 28th between 7:30 AM and 5:00 pm at 490 S. Pleasantburg Drive Greenville, SC 29607.
Please plan to pick up your packet and drop off all donations on Friday. However, if you are unable to pick up your packet on Friday, please arrive an hour before your wave time to receive the packet at the Participant Check-In Tent. Your packet will consist of your event shirt, goody bag, and any other fundraising items you may have earned.
Is this a timed event?
No. We have expanded the course and worked to make it more challenging. Each child will receive a finisher medal for completing the Ninja Challenge!
What should kids wear for the Ninja Warrior Course?
Kids should wear clothes that they do not mind getting dirty. Tennis shoes and comfortable, athletic clothing should be worn. We also encourage packing a towel because at least one obstacle will include water.
Can I run the course with my kids?
You can run along the outside of the roped-off course to cheer on your kids!
Can my kids run together even if they are different ages?
Yes! You can register the kids for the same wave time. Kids 8 years old and older will get a 1-minute head start; however, they can stay behind to start with a younger sibling if desired.
How hard is the course?
This event is called the Kids Ninja Challenge because it is just that...a challenge! We have moved the event to a larger area this year to spread out the obstacles and to add more of a running element. Some obstacles will be more difficult than others, but we want participants to feel accomplished once they finish the challenge.
Do I have to do every obstacle?
A participant can opt out of an obstacle by going around it, but we encourage that every obstacle be attempted by the Ninjas! We will have volunteers at each obstacle assisting the kids.
How does the wave times work?
Waves start at 8:00am and are released every 15 minutes. There will be around 20 kids in each wave. All participants must be at the start line by their designated wave time. Kids 8 years old and older will be given a 1-minute head start. Register soon because some wave times are more popular than others and will fill up fast.
Will restrooms be available?
Yes. Portable restrooms will be available.
What if I get hurt?
Our course is designed with safety as the number one priority. However, in the event an injury occurs, we will have an EMT and a paramedic on site.
Where should I park?
There will be plenty of parking inside the entrance of the YMCA Hollingsworth Outdoor Center.
