Event Description
Join us for a feel-good 5K with a purpose! Our Annual Westminster 5K & Fun Run showcases scenic downtown Westminster: the city's oldest church, historic neighborhoods, and Veteran's Park. We'll finish downtown with a post-race party only the City of Westminster can deliver!
Proceeds benefit the Westminster Police Foundation. Come run, walk, and celebrate community. We can't wait to welcome you to Westminster!

Times are based on the start times above.
The 5K will start and end on Main Street in beautiful downtown Westminster! Runners will run up Main Street, over to North St, pass Park Place Ice Cream Shop and Anderson Park, and turn left down Grey Street, then left up Abbey Street, where they will pass by Westminster Presbyterian Church, the oldest church in Westminster! Then, runners will turn right down North Isundega Street and enjoy some downhill reprieve. From there, runners will turn left on Anderson, right on Hall Street, and left on Gaston Circle before turning left on Jenkins and heading to Highway 183. After running back into town, runners will turn left on North Street and take the slight right to run back down Main Street.
This route is a fun, challenging course that can be enjoyed by runners, walkers, and everyone at all levels of fitness!
The fun run will take place on Main Street! Runners will start and finish at the start line adjacent to the end of the Depot parking lot. Runners will run up Main Street, through the underpass, turn around and come back down Main Street.
Parking for the event will be on Windsor Street, the old Walgreens parking lot, and possibly Retreat Street.
Overall awards for top finishers.
The Westminster Police Foundation supports the Westminster Police Department by funding technology, training, and equipment, enhancing officer safety and wellness while strengthening community-police relationships through outreach and engagement.
- Rain or shine: the race goes on in any weather. If lightning or severe weather makes it unsafe, the start may be delayed.
