North Texas Bikepacking Clinic & Meetup

Meet up Friday evening in the LBJ National Grasslands for some group socializing and camping. Beginner bikepacking clinic Saturday morning with veterans encouraged to stick around and share their knowledge in a roundtable format. Several short trip options available for nearby camping Saturday night or just focus on riding the bike in the area and keep the same camp (ideal for new/car campers without bikepacking gear yet). There will also be long trip options available for those who don't want to hang out for the clinic.

8/27 Update: 

Routes are verified and pretty danged sweet. Options ranging from 28 miles to 108 with plenty in between. Let us know your preferred per day mileage and we will sketch out the options that look like the best fit for the most people.

We are recommending those intending to do the clinic plan on a shorter route. As currently routed the 108 miler will be about 63 miles of pedaling on the first day to get to available Saturday night camping.

These routes are NOT flat. The longer the route, the hillier it will be. A 63 mile day will feel closer to 75/80, a 28 mile day will feel closer to 35/40.
