Club Spinistry members only, semi supported group outing to catch all of the trails around Grapevine Lake via bicycle only.
Shorter option that only includes Knob Hills and Northshore trails available for those not up to to the full distance.
Suggested routes between trails and aid station/support time cutoffs will be provided to registered participants prior to ride day.
Full loop is currently mapped at 56 miles not including singletrack. Short loop is about 36 miles excluding singletrack. Riders will have the option to do partial loops at both Knob Hills and Northshore.
Full Effect starts from Grapevine, 4 miles pavement to Horseshoe Trail, up to 5 miles of Horseshoe Trail, 18 miles pavement to Knob Hills Trail Aid Station, up to 13 miles of Knob Hills Trail, finish at Knob Hills Aid Station (cutoff time TBD), 18 miles pavement to Northshore Aid Station, Up to 22 miles of Northshore Trail, finish at Northshore Aid Station, 16 miles pavement to finish at Grapevine Staging area.
Partial Effect Starting from Knob Hills 377 Trailhead. Up to 8 miles of Knob Hills to Dunham Road Aid Station, 18 miles pavement to Northshore Aid Station, Up to 22 miles of Northshore Trail, Back to Northshore Aid Station, 17 miles pavement back to Dunham Road Knob Hills access, 7 miles of Knob Hills Trail back to 377 Trailhead.
Groadie Loop is welcome to utilize Aid Stations if schedules allow for it. Most likely Groadies will be off schedule for the aid stations. Route does go by multiple stores and refuel points.
