The CHANCE Walk-a-thon / 5K Run is more than just a race—it's a movement to create opportunities for children in unserved communities. By participating, you'll support the CHANCE Global Initiative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives through education, health, and economic empowerment.
Together, we aim to:
✔️ Raise awareness about the struggles faced by marginalized communities.
✔️ Promote physical fitness and foster community engagement.
✔️ Highlight the incredible work of the Carson Academy of Excellence, which provides quality education to over 500 students (grades 1-8) in Mukuru Kwa Ngenga, one of Nairobi's largest slums.
Your participation helps us empower these children with the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential.

Who can participate?
The CHANCE 5k Fun Run and Walk is open for children and adults of any age. Strollers are permitted. Pets are not permitted.
Packet Pickup
Friday, November 14th | 5pm- 7pm
Saturday, November 15th | 6.30am - 7.30am
Enter to win a $50 HEB Gift Card when you pick up on Friday
All participants must be registered and checked in 30 minutes prior to the start of the race
We recommend arriving at least 45 minutes early to allow ample time for parking and registration.
