The Sesqui-Stride

Join us as we celebrate 150 years of Jacksboro with a 1.5-mile Fun Run in downtown Jacksboro on Saturday, September 27th!

Hosted by Faith Community Hospital, this family-friendly event is all about fun, community, and honoring our history. Run, jog, or walk — everyone is welcome!

The Fun Run kicks off at the corner by the Police Station and heads east down Belknap Street before transitioning onto the scenic Fort Richardson State Park Trail.

An optional short loop will take you across the spillway, offering stunning views of Lake Jacksboro, before reconnecting you to the trail entrance. From there, follow the path past historic markers and keep an eye out for local wildlife along the way.

A ramp will guide runners out of the Park into the Concerned Citizens parking lot, before transitioning back onto the roadway. The final stretch follows East Pine Street west for a few blocks, then turns north onto South Church Street, where the finish line comes into view!

⚠️ Please note: this course includes a mix of pavement and trail surfaces.

 To ensure your Event Sway Registration must be completed by Tuesday, September 23rd.  Registration completed after September 23rd, Event Swag will limited and not guaranteed on Race Day.
