Fantastic, all weather, gravell staging from Luling, TX. The routes are a great mix of scenic back country roads that wind across the San Marcos and Guadalupe Rivers Route options of 24, 38, 53, 75 and 100 miles. Routes will be marked with the exception of the portions of the of the 75 and 100 milers which differ from the 53 miler. All riders will receive access to the routes and route files on Ride With GPS at no extra charge. This includes free use of the Ride With GPS navigation app for those who do not already have a dedicated GPS device.

Neutral water tables will be along the route, do not plan on any other amenities to be available along the route. This ride is considered self supported so riders will need to make their own arrangements for transportation if unable to complete the course for any reason.

This is not a race so there are no awards or podiums. We will record finishing times for training purposes. Slots are limited by restrictions of our staging facility. Slots will initially be available only to members of Club Spinistry. Any slots remaining the Monday prior to event day will be made available to the general public at a price of $40 per entry. The focus of this event is to provide an additional benefit to the Club Spinistry members in and around Central Texas.

Routes have been scouted but will be considered preliminary until they are marked and verified the day before the event. They do hold up well to rain/wet weather but there are sections which could go under rushing water in flood conditions. Preliminary routes will be made available to registered participants the week of the event for reference purposes.

We have numerous membership types for Club Spinistry including memberships for: Individuals, Families, Race Teams, Shops/Corporations. Please visit the membership page if you are interested in those details. Click Here

Safety Plan

This ride is considered to be self supported. Riders are responsible for securing transportation if they are unable to to complete the ride for any reason. There will NOT be any SAG vehicles nor will we be able to retrieve riders who have issues on course. In case of a true emergency call 911. We will sweep the course at the end of the day to retrieve arrows and water tables. Riders should carry enough hydration/nutrition to care for themselves in case the provided water supply is unavailable for any reason. Riders should have access to route navigation via GPS file in case course markings are disrupted.

Riders are expected to follow the Texas Traffic Code at all times. The routes are all on public roads so please be considerate to other road users. Do not block the entire road even if you think you are in the middle of nowhere with no other traffic. If you must ride with earbud please consider using a rearview mirror as well., Helmets are required and lights (front & rear) are highly recommended.
