Welcome to the Spinistry Free Routes Library. This library is designed to help you find the best unpaved gravel cycling and bikepacking routes in North America. Whether you are looking for beginner-friendly mixed-surface rides in North Texas or multi-day adventure routes across the country, this sample library of over 500 verified and publicly sourced tracks is your starting point.

Vehicle Suitability & Surface Conditions: These routes are curated specifically for unpaved cycling. They are highly suitable for:

Drop-bar gravel bikes
Cyclocross setups
Hardtail mountain bikes or bikepacking rigs running 38c tires or wider
Please note: The older a gravel route is, the higher the likelihood that county roads may now be paved in part or whole. Routes are intended as a general reference tool.

Route Logistics & Navigation Requirements To ensure a safe and successful ride, please review the following logistics before downloading a route:

Public vs. Private Access: Some routes map paths through private property that were only accessible with special permission during official Spinistry events. Following these routes outside of our event dates does not imply permission to access private property or restricted areas. 

Always secure your own permission and obey local "No Trespassing" signage.

Water & Nutrition: Some routes indicate water, nutrition, or supply access points that were set up temporarily for Spinistry events. Do not rely on event-specific waypoints for survival. Always do appropriate research and carry adequate hydration and tools for a self-supported ride.

Source Attribution: This library combines select Spinistry routes with publicly available routes created by third parties to build a comprehensive destination for riders. We highly recommend visiting the original source for third-party routes for additional condition data.
