'24 Lifetime Impact Award Winner
We would like to announce that Linda Rosine of Grove City, will be named the 2024 Wattle Lifetime Impact Award Winner. We will plant a tree with a plaque in her honor in a Grove City Park. During the ceremonies, we will also award her with an “in the home” plaque and other gifts.

City of Grove City
As the environmental supervisor for Grove City, Ohio, Linda is key to the City’s efforts toward promoting positive and sustainable environmental practices through individual and community involvement, including recycling, composting and resource reutilization. Linda is the appointed chairperson for the Grove City Sustainability Committee, which is responsible for the creation and management of the Sustainable Grove City plan. She is the coordinator for Keep Grove City Beautiful and the City’s Adopt-a-Street and Park programs. Linda is responsible for creating and supporting resident programs and workshops centered on sustainability measures, including community gardens, composting and rainwater harvesting and consumption practices.
Linda has been employed by the City of Grove City for 22 years and is a past President of the Executive Board of Keep Ohio Beautiful and past member of MORPC’s Sustainability Advisory Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio State University and is a graduate of the National Recreation and Park Association Green School. In 2016, she earned a Conservation Stewardship Award from the Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District for her work with the “Blue Roof” project. Linda is active in her community as a member of the Grove City Noon Lions Club, Global Membership Chair for Lions District OH5 and received the Melvin Jones award, in recognition of an individual’s dedication to humanitarian service. Girl Scout leader for 13 years and received an individual honoree for her commitment to Grove City from the Boy Scouts at the annual Grove City Mayor’s Breakfast for Scouting.
