2-Day Weekend: Arriving, departing and other important details.

Cheboygan High School, 801 W. Lincoln Avenue, Cheboygan, MI 49721 Directions

  • Campers may arrive after 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 13.
  • Two breakfast buffets are included with the 2-Day Weekend on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
  • There is no dinner service on the 2-Day Weeked. Please refer to the Information Hub for local restaurants in Chebogyan, Mullet Lake or Mackinaw City.
  • Celebrate your success at the Finish Line on Sunday, then take down tents. load up and depart camp by 4:00 p.m.
  • Because cyclists will have full access to their vehicles during the 2-Day Michigander; we do not provide downtown shuttle service during the 2-Day ride.

July 17-18: Petoskey Middle School
July 19-20: Harbor Springs High School

  • Long Term Parking is at Cheboygan High School.
  • Campers may arrive after 6:00 p.m., for early registration check in and to set up camp on Sunday, July 15.
  • The first meal of the ride begins with the breakfast buffet on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Our hearty breakfast buffet is served every morning from Monday, July 16-Saturday, July 21
  • There is no dinner service on Wedesday, July 18. Please refer to the Information Hub to Explore and Eat Local in Petoskey. 
  • On Saturday, July 21, we ride the final leg of the tour back to Cheboygan High School for a festive finish line, and to pack our vehicles. Showers will be available until 3:30 and we ask that everyone say their goodbyes and depart the grounds by 4:00 p.m.

  • The first meal of the ride begins with the breakfast buffet on Saturday, July 14  with a hearty breakfast buffet each morning from Saturday, July 14 - Saturday, July 21.
  • Dinner buffets are served Monday, July 16, Tuesday, July 17, Thursday, July 19 and Friday, July 20. Please refer to the Information Hub to Explore and Eat Local in Chebogyan, Mullet Lake or Mackinaw City July 14-15 and in Petoskey on July 18.
  • Because cyclists will have full access to their vehicles during the 2-Day Michigander; we do not provide shuttle service during the first two days of the 8-Day Tour.
  • On Saturday, July 21, we ride the final leg of the tour back to Cheboygan High School for a festive finish line, and to pack our vehicles. Showers will be available until 3:30 and we ask that everyone say their goodbyes and depart the grounds by 4:00 p.m.


The last night of camping is Friday, July 20, there is no camping available on Saturday, July 21. If you would like to stay in the region post ride, visit www.michigan.org for lodging and camping links.

Information Hub


The Michigander Bicycle Tour will have an Information Hub in front of the cafeteria or meal tent each day. It will be staffed daily by volunteers from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Volunteers

We have an experienced volunteer team; many have been with the ride since its inception. If you have questions at any time, be sure to ask any volunteer dressed in an orange ride tee and they will assist you. If they cannot, they will help find someone who can.

Bicycle Parking

Unattended bicycles are left at your own risk. We recommend you bring a lock for use at any time you will not be with your bicycle.
