About Trolley Run
The 38th Annual CCVI Trolley Run will return to the streets of Waldo, Brookside, and the Plaza on Sunday, April 26, 2026!
The CCVI Trolley Run is the largest annual fundraiser for Children's Center for the Visually Impaired and is one of Kansas City's oldest and largest road races! Trolley Run is a USATF-certified 4-mile race and our flat, downhill route is perfect for people of ALL paces, experience, and abilities!
All money raised from the race supports educational or therapeutic services for kids with visual impairments, including those with multiple disabilities!
Kids' Trolley Run
We inivte kids 10 and under to join the Kids' Trolley Run which takes place after the race near the finish line. Caregivers choose the distance for your child - self-seed in the appropriate corral upon arrival at Ward Parkway!

Reason for the Run
The CCVI Trolley Run is the largest fundraiser for Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI). All money raised from the race supports educational or therapeutic services for kids with vision impairment, including those with multiple disabilities.
