Laura Crank Dice Run

In July, our friend, mother and grandmother was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer.
This was a diagnosis we never saw coming. With the type of cancer it is, Laura will be starting aggressive chemotherapy immediately, which will most likely eventually lead to surgery.
 
While some costs are covered by the public health system and Medicare, Laura will be taking on ongoing medical fees while retaining her day-to-day expenses such as the mortgage, insurances, food and many other bills. 
She will be facing up to six months in lost wages during just her first round of chemotherapy, after which, there will be the potential for further treatment required.
 
This is where we turn to the incredible community. Our goal is to make sure Laura can get through this incredibly challenging process without the additional stress of worrying about finances.
Laura has become a light in every community she touches, approaching everything in life with strength, love and humility; let's do the same in making sure she is taken care of through this time.

Laura has also said from the beginning of this journey she would like to touch the breast cancer community in any way she can. Any remaining funds after Laura’s treatment will be donated to Breast Cancer Research.
