Jeff RUN sonville Turkey Trot

Welcome to the inaugural Jeff RUN sonville Turkey Trot! The idea for a town turkey trot was dreamt up by the Jeff RUN sonville Run Club as a way to gather runners and walkers alike to celebrate the unofficial "end" of running season as we turn towards winter. There will be a 5K run/walk as well as a 2K kids and family "trot" for those smaller legs that may not be ready for a full 5K yet. The race will be held on the historic Lamoille Valley Rail Trail and begin and end by crossing one of Vermont's many covered bridges. All finishers will receive a finishers medal and the top three Females, Non Binary Folks, and Males will receive a prize. There will also be a raffle at the end of the race so stick around to mingle with your neighbors and hopefully bring home a special prize! The 5K will set off at 8 AM sharp followed by the 2K at 8:05 AM sharp in order to get everyone home in time to refuel with their turkey dinners and pie!
